Big Hill Ride

The Big Hill refers to Kicking Horse Pass and descends from Wapta Lake to Field, B.C. Even after completion of the Spiral Tunnels, the grade is about 2%. Grinding diesels heading East up the hill and smoking brake equipment heading West. Photos below give you a taste of the Big Hill.
