Canadian Pacific Railway

CPR is my favorite railroad. The scenery is spectacular and much is just off Hwy 1. Many of the remote areas can be reached with a short hikebut one must be prepared for bear. Although ther are now security concerns, CPR had been most generous with sharing their railroad to railfans. Special thanks is given to CPR management in Revelstoke for sharing their railroad with a handful of Texas railfans.
