Cumbres & Toltec

One of two remaining segments of the old Denver & Rio Grande Narrow Guage System in the Rockies, this line runs from Chama, New Mexico to Antonito, Colorado. A number of trips are offered by this tourist railroad which passes through a variety of mountain ecosystems making for a spectacular ride, particularly in the fall when the air is crisp and the Aspen trees turn golden.
